In Arabic, sabil means a path, a way, a road — a course taken with intention. It is a word the Qur'an returns to again and again to describe the way of righteousness, the path toward Allah, the journey of a life lived in alignment.
We chose this name because what Sabil Experiences offers is not a destination. It is a path. A walk. A way.

The Founder

Fatimah Linda Howard is the author of From Vision to Divine Provision: The Islamic Art of Sacred Manifestation — an Amazon #1 New Release in three Islamic book categories, recognized as the first of its kind in providing Muslims with an authentic, Qur'an-centered approach to manifestation.It is the second book in The Path of Divine Alignment Series.
The first book in the series, Crescent Over Crossroads, explores her journey as an African American Muslim professional woman — written from a Casablanca apartment overlooking Hassan II Mosque.
An alumna of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, Fatimah brings decades of leadership experience across Corporate America, including roles as Interim Chief Compliance Officer, Interim CEO, and Associate VP of Business Ethics. She has spoken at Yale University, the International Muslim Mental Health Conference, and Claremont School of Theology, and has been featured on Fox News, NBC, and in Essence and Black Enterprise magazines.
Fatimah currently leads Sisters' Steadfast Saturdays, a monthly gathering for Muslim women — the very community whose sacred conversations inspired her to write the book. She founded WithLindaHoward and Alturnative, LLC and is the founder of Sabil Experiences — the brand under which the inaugural retreat is offered.
A practitioner of meditation for more than three decades, Fatimah brings her own contemplative discipline to the way she designs and leads these journeys. She has traveled extensively across the globe, lived in Morocco and South Africa, and built a business in Ghana — international experience that informs how every retreat is scouted, structured, and held.
She didn't just write about living in alignment with divine guidance — she lives it. Leaving Corporate America to follow a path she could only see through faith. Moving to Morocco to write her first book while living across from Hassan II Mosque. And now, inviting others to walk that same land and discover their own provision.
